TCA (Trichloroacetic Acid): Exfoliates the outer layers of skin to reduce acne, signs of aging, fine lines,and uneven pigmentation
Mandelic Acid: Alpha hydroxy acid that has anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and anti-fungal properties, and improves the appearance of pigmentation
Lactic Acid: Alpha hydroxy acid that is hydrating, exfoliating, and reduces pigmentation
Kojic Acid: Inhibits melanin production by inhibiting tyrosinase, provides gradual and continual skinlightening to relieve skin discolorations

It is normal to experience some dryness and flakiness after receiving a chemical peel. Wearing sunscreen is CRUICAl after receiving a chemical peel because the skin becomes more sensitized to UV rays.
Purging is also common where minor breakouts appear on the skin but heal faster than the normal breakout. This occurs because the buildup of oil, bacteria, and dead skin cells are pushed to the surface.
Although going through the purging process is not ideal, it just means your skin is getting rid of the bad and on its way it becoming clear!
